We are looking for a manager to work in a dynamic, growing organization, heading the Risk Governance and Monitoring team. The position is cross-border for The Netherlands and Belgium, and reports to the CRO.

Your main tasks and responsibilities are:
Drive implementation of Amlin’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework (risk tolerances and appetite, risk assessment, risk mitigation, risk reporting, stress testing, …) Co-lead Solvency II implementation, in particular pillar II aspects Facilitate the Risk Assessment Process, ensuring both that the process runs smoothly, and delivers insight Deliver high quality management information through a range of risk management systems and tools Provide advice, training and support to managers (businesses and functions) in the management of the company risk exposures. Perform ad-hoc in depth analysis on specific risks. Act as an agent of change on risk matters towards the organization, providing risk training, and designing and delivering actions to create a strong risk culture Support the CRO in organizing and facilitating the risk committee meeting.

- Broad problem solving skills (quantitative, qualitative, problem structuring, strong synthesis)
- Good influencing and networking skills, as role includes frequent interaction across all ACI
- Ability to deliver top management level communication and recommendations. Analytical results are not enough.

Education and Background
- Masters degree (business, actuarial, engineering)
- Risk certification is a plus
- 10+ years work experience
- Suitable candidates are expected to have built expertise in the following environments (or a combination thereof): risk teams at insurers or banks, specialized risk consultancies, management consultancy with a quantitative and risk focus
